The event, organised in partnership with the Secretariat for Communication (SPC) of the Holy See, will take place on 6-7 October at the \u2018San Pio X\u2019 Media Center, in Via della Conciliazione 5. To participate, online registration is recommended through our website\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.hdforumitalia.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">www.hdforumitalia.org<\/a>\u00a0where conference program details are available . \u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0The welcome and opening address by mons.\u00a0<strong>Dario Edoardo Vigan\u00f2\u00a0<\/strong>\u2013 prefect of the SPC \u2013 and\u00a0<strong>Benito Manlio Mari\u00a0<\/strong>\u2013 president of HDFI \u2013 will be followed by the presentation of\u00a0<strong><em>\u2018Behind the Scenes\u2019,\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>the<strong><em>\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>Ultra HD\/HDR\u00a0 reportage video<strong><em>\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>giving a backstage view of the opening ceremony of the Jubilee of Mercy which will be presented in a new version, with the application of the HDR curves indicated in the recent technical recommendations issued by ITU.<\/p>\n<p>The next item will focus on the Association\u2019s first ten years with a round table discussion led by the vice-presidents,\u00a0<strong>Sebastiano Trigila, Marco Pellegrinato\u00a0<\/strong>and<strong>\u00a0Luigi Rocchi.\u00a0<\/strong>Speakers for this session relating to the years marked by<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>international collaborations, include:\u00a0<strong>Barbara Lange,\u00a0<\/strong>Executive Director ofSMPTE &#8211; United States;\u00a0<strong>Leonardo Chiariglione,\u00a0<\/strong>founder of the MPEG Group;\u00a0<strong>Klauss Illgner<\/strong>, Chairman of the HbbTV Association;\u00a0<strong>Thierry Fautier<\/strong>, President of Ultra HD Forum;\u00a0<strong>Stefano D&#8217;Agostini<\/strong>, Director of the Vatican Television Center.<\/p>\n<p>Next on the agenda will be a discussion on the TV of the future, above all in light of the growing progress being made in\u00a0<strong>Ultra HD<\/strong>.
