On July 19, an online Board of Directors was held, with on the agenda, among various points, the completion of the renewal of its Governance, with the appointment of five Vice-Presidents.

Marcello Berengo Gardin (Sky Italia) and Marco Pellegrinato (Mediaset) have been reconfirmed from the previous mandate, Newly appointed are Stefania Sagona (TIM), who in the last council was Secretary General, Ilaria Agostini (Eutelsat) and Pedro Valiente Echezarreta (Kineton). The new Vice Presidents went to the applause of the whole Board of Directors with the best wishes for a good job.

“The position of Vice President of HD Forum Italia – declared the President Tonio Di Stefano before the Board of Directors – is far from being a mere honorary position. Instead, it means full and active involvement in the Association’s work, through participation in a permanent body called the Presidency Committee and the conferral of appropriate operational mandates”. As is known, in fact, the Association has no dedicated staff and therefore the contribution is essential by everyone and in particular by the Secretary General Benito Manlio Mari, by the Deputy Vice President Sebastiano Mario Trigila and by the newly elected Vice Presidents.

Il 19 luglio scorso si è tenuto un Consiglio Direttivo online,  con all’ordine del giorno, tra vari punti,  il completamento del rinnovo delle cariche sociali, con la nomina di cinque Vicepresidenti.

Riconfermati Marcello Berengo Gardin (Sky Italia) e Marco Pellegrinato (Mediaset),  Di nuova nomina sono Stefania Sagona (TIM), che nella scorsa consiliatura era Segretario Generale, Ilaria Agostini (Eutelsat) e Pedro Valiente Echezarreta (Kineton).  Ai nuovi Vicepresidenti è andato il plauso di tutto il Consiglio Direttivo con i migliori auguri di buon lavoro.

“La carica di Vicepresidente in HD Forum Italia  – ha dichiarato il Presidente Tonio Di Stefano di fronte al Consiglio Direttivo– è lungi dall’essere una mera carica onorifica. Significa, invece, coinvolgimento pieno e attivo nelle attività dell’Associazione, mediante partecipazione ad un organo permanente detto Comitato di Presidenza e conferimento di opportune deleghe operative”.  Come noto, infatti, l’Associazione non ha staff dedicato e quindi è essenziale il contributo fattivo di tutti ed in particolare del Segretario Generale Benito Manlio Mari, del Vicepresidente Vicario Sebastiano Mario Trigila e dei neo-eletti Vicepresidenti.
